About Zellany

Zellany is a free-to-post marketplace for the Philippines. Here is what it does, what it does not do, and where the credits are.

Updated 2 min read

Zellany is a place to buy and sell things near you in the Philippines. Post what you no longer use in about a minute, chat with the buyer or seller, and meet in a public place. It is free to post.

What you can do here

  • Sell any item. Add photos, a price and a few words, then post. Buyers write to you in Chats.
  • Find good stuff near you. Browse every category, search for an item, or pick your city.
  • Chat first. Your phone number and email stay hidden unless you choose to share them. Your exact place is never shown, only the area.
  • Meet up smart. Read Meet-up habits. Look at the item before you pay.

How Zellany works with money

Zellany does not hold anyone's money. When you meet, you pay the seller yourself, after you have checked the item. Nothing is charged for a cash meet-up. If a paid extra is ever offered, you see its price and the word Boosted before you choose it.

What Zellany does not do

  • It does not check every seller or every item. It gives you tools to report a problem, and our team looks at reports.
  • It does not sell badges or checks.
  • It does not promise that you will earn money from selling.

Who runs Zellany

Zellany is run by Zellany, in the Philippines. You can reach us on the Contact page or at help@zellany.com. Our privacy notice and terms of use are published.

Credits and data sources

Zellany uses the work of other people: place names and boundaries, a font and open-source software. Their credits are on the Credits and data sources page. Example pictures on sample listings show the kind of item, not the seller's own.
