Community rules

The community rules keep Zellany fair. In short: be real, no scams, nothing illegal, no fake goods, be kind, no spam, honest ratings, no adult content, and keep details private. You must be 18 or older.

The rules

1. Be real. Say what you really sell, what it costs and where you are. Do not pretend to be another person, a brand or a bank. Use your own name.
2. No scams and no easy-money promises. Do not promise income, "guaranteed returns" or "double your money". Investment offers, pyramid schemes and paluwagan-type schemes that ask for money first are not allowed. Never ask for passwords, one-time codes or card numbers.
3. Nothing illegal, and nothing that needs a permit you do not have. See What you cannot sell.
4. No fake goods. Do not sell copies as the real thing. Say when something is used.
5. Be kind. No harassment, threats, bullying or hate.
6. No spam. Do not post the same thing again and again. Do not fill posts with links or phone numbers. Do not buy followers or ratings.
7. Honest ratings. Ratings come from real deals. Do not rate yourself or pay for ratings.
8. No adult content. No nudity, sexual content or graphic violence.
9. Keep personal details private. Do not post another person's phone number, address, ID or private photos. Take extra care with pictures of children.

How reports work

• Every item, video, chat, person and Shop has a Report option. Our team looks at reports.
• The person you report is never told that it was you.
• If 3 different people report an item as a scam or as illegal, it is hidden until a person looks.
• Reporting only to bother someone is against the rules.

What can happen

• An item or video can be hidden or removed. You are told why.
• An account can be put on hold. It can still look around, but it cannot post, chat or make offers.
• Very serious breaks can close an account.
• Paying for a Boost or a Shop plan never changes what is allowed.

Tell us. Open My items and tap Appeal, or write to help@zellany.com. A person looks again. We cannot promise how fast.
