Intellectual property and takedown requests
If someone copies your work or brand, report the item or write to help@zellany.com with proof. We look at valid notices.
If someone copies your work or your brand, you can ask us to look. Report the item, or write to help@zellany.com with proof that you own it. We look at valid notices. We cannot promise a time.
Not live yet
A dedicated form for copyright and brand notices is not on the site yet. Use Report on the item, or write to us. Our full policy is published: Notice-and-takedown and complaints policy.
What to send
Write to help@zellany.com and include:
- What is wrong, and where. Send the item link.
- What you own: the work, brand or design.
- Proof that you own it, or that you act for the owner.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the post is not allowed.
- Your name and how to reach you.
- Your typed name as a signature.
What we do
- A person looks at the notice.
- If it is valid, we hide or remove the item. We tell the seller.
- We keep the record of what happened.
False notices
A notice sent knowingly without a real claim can lead to a closed account.
If your item was removed after a notice
Open My items. You will see the reason. If you think we were wrong, tap Appeal, or write to us. Tell us why you may sell it. You can send a counter-notice within 10 days. The steps are in the policy.
Orders from the government
If a government body orders us to remove an item, we follow a valid order. We check that the order is real first.
Child sexual abuse material
This is a different, urgent process. See Child safety.
