You set up your profile from Me. Add a photo, a short bio and your city, so buyers and sellers know who they are talking to. Your email and phone number are never shown.

What you can add

  • Your name. Other people see your first name and the first letter of your last name.
  • Your name in the address (optional). A short name like @maria_lim. Use 3 to 30 letters, numbers or underscores. Your page is then at zellany.com/u/ followed by that name.
  • Bio. Up to 300 letters. Say what you sell and where you meet. No links or phone numbers.
  • Photo. Your face or your logo. If you add none, we show your initials.
  • Cover picture (optional). Up to 4 MB, at least 1,200 pixels wide. With none, your page has a red cover.
  • Featured items. Pick up to 3 of your items to show first.
  • Intro video (optional). See Your videos and your profile intro video.

How to edit it

  1. Open Me, then My profile. On the website you can also open your profile page.
  2. Tap Edit profile.
  3. Change what you like, then tap Save.

What your profile shows

A profile shows your listings, your ratings, and which checks you have done, such as your email. Checks are free and never for sale. They show that you did a step. They do not show that you are honest, so buyers should still follow the meet-up habits.

Tip

A clear photo and two honest lines in your bio make people more ready to reply. They do not make a sale sure.
