Check your email with a 6-digit code
Zellany emails you a 6-digit code. Type it in to check your email. The code works for 30 minutes.
To check your email, type the 6-digit code that Zellany sends to your inbox. The code works for 30 minutes. You can also tap the button in the same email.
Why we ask
You can look around without checking your email. To post an item, write in a chat or make an offer, Zellany asks you to check it first. It shows other people that you did one real step, and it lets us send you important notes about your account.
How to check it
- After you join, open the email from Zellany. The subject starts with "Your Zellany code".
- Go back to Zellany. On the Check your email screen, type the code.
- Tap Verify. On the website the button is called Check the code.
You can also do it later. On the website, open Settings from your picture menu and tap Check my email. On the app, open Me, then Settings, then Email.
Good to know
- Each code works for 30 minutes.
- After 5 wrong tries, that code stops working. Ask for a new one.
- You can ask for a new code with Send a new code. There is a short wait of about a minute between codes, and a limit of 10 codes a day.
- You can tap Do this later and carry on looking around.
- A new code makes the old one stop working.
Heads up
Zellany never asks you to tell anyone this code. Not our team, not a buyer, not a seller. Anyone who asks for it is trying to take over your account.
Not live yet
If email is not switched on, you will see "Email isn't set up on Zellany yet". Nothing is sent and nothing is asked of you until it is.
