Safe Deal: what it will be and why it is not live

Safe Deal is a planned way to pay through a licensed payment partner. It is not live. Zellany will never hold your money.

Safe Deal is a way to pay through a licensed payment partner, planned for the future. It is not live. Zellany will never hold your money.

Not live yet

Safe Deal is off. There is no Safe Deal button, no Safe Deal payment and no Safe Deal fee today. Anyone who offers you "Safe Deal" now, in a chat or a message, is not offering a Zellany service. Report it.

What it is planned to be

  1. The buyer sees the price, the Safe Deal fee and the partner's fees before paying.
  2. The buyer pays the payment partner, not Zellany and not the seller.
  3. At a meet-up, the buyer shows a 6-digit code, and the seller enters it. Only then is the money released to the seller's own account.
  4. For an item sent by courier, the buyer confirms it arrived as described, or the check time passes.
  5. The buyer can report a problem until then. Staff decide any money question, and refunds go back the way the buyer paid.

Why it is not live yet

  • A licensed payment partner must hold the money, and a Philippine lawyer must give a written OK first.
  • Every fee and limit is a draft until it is approved.

We do not give a date.

What stays true

  • Zellany never holds anyone's money.
  • We show fees before anyone commits.
  • Cash at a meet-up stays free of fees.

What to do today

Meet in a public place, check the item, then pay in cash. See Meet up the smart way.

Heads up

A screenshot is never proof that someone paid. When Safe Deal exists, only the partner's own message will say "paid".
