Anyone can post items, jobs and services as a person. A Shop is an optional upgrade for people who sell as a business.

You can post items, jobs and services as a person. A Shop is an optional upgrade for people who sell as a business. This page shows where to start.

What is what

Items are things for sale or for rent. Most of Zellany is this.
Services are work you offer, like repairs, lessons or photo and video. They sit in the Services department with the kind Service offered.
Jobs are work you are hiring for. They sit in the Jobs department.
A Shop is a page for a business, with its own name and a team.

Do you need a Shop?

No. Most people post as themselves. A Shop helps if you:

Sell all the time, as a business.
Are a dealer of cars, motorcycles or property.
Have helpers who answer chats.

Not live yet

The "Open a Shop" button is not in the website or app yet. To ask for one, write to help@zellany.com.

Labels

Every Shop and its items show a free "Business" label. A person selling their own things shows "Private". Jobs and services are marked Not verified by Zellany. Zellany does not check anyone's skill or licence.

Shops, jobs and services follow the same community rules. Paying for anything never changes what is allowed.

Tip

Be clear about who you are. Use your real name or your real business name.

Sell as a ShopFor sellers A Shop is an optional upgrade for people who sell as a business. You do not need one to sell on Zellany. Posting jobsFor sellers Post a job in the Jobs department. Say what the work is. Applicants never pay, and you cannot ask for age, gender or looks. Posting servicesFor sellers Post a service in the Services department. Say what you do and what it costs. Some kinds of work need a licence number. Property and vehicle sellersFor sellers Owners can post homes, cars and bikes as a person. Dealers sell under a Shop. Private numbers, like the engine number, are never shown.
