Sell as a Shop
A Shop is an optional upgrade for people who sell as a business. You do not need one to sell on Zellany.
A Shop is an optional upgrade for people who sell as a business, like dealers and agents. You do not need a Shop to sell on Zellany. Most people sell as themselves.
Person or Shop
- A person sells their own things. Everything in this Help Center works for you.
- A Shop has its own page, with a name, a banner and its items. A team can help run it.
Every Shop and its items show a "Business" label. A person selling their own things shows "Private". This label is free and automatic. It is not a badge you can buy.
Who needs a Shop
- Dealers who sell cars, motorcycles or property for other people.
- Anyone who sells all the time as a business.
Dealers must sell under a Shop. A person who owns the item chooses Owner.
How to get a Shop
Not live yet
The "Open a Shop" button is not in the website or app yet. To ask for a Shop, write to help@zellany.com or use Help and contact in your account, and choose Ask about a Shop.
A Shop will need some business details, such as the business name, an address and registration papers. Papers stay private.
What a Shop does not buy
A Shop does not buy a check, a badge or a better place in search. Verification is never sold. Shop plans with extra tools are not live. See Shop plans.
Tip
If you only have a few things to sell, stay a person. It is simpler.
