Add details that help it sell

A clear title, an honest condition and a few facts in the description answer buyers' questions before they ask.

Updated 2 min read For sellers

A clear title, an honest condition and a few facts in the description answer most of the questions buyers would ask. The more you say up front, the fewer messages you need to answer.

Title

Use 3 to 100 letters. Put the brand, the model and the size or storage first, like "Samsung A54, 128GB". Skip words like "LOOK!!!".

Condition

Pick the one that is true:

  • Brand new: never used.
  • Like new: used a little, no marks.
  • Good: used, works well, small marks.
  • Fair: works, with clear wear.
  • For parts: does not work, or only for parts.

Nothing is picked for you. Say what the item is, not what you hope.

Description

Under More details (optional), you can write up to 2,000 characters. Say:

  • What is included, like the charger or the box.
  • How long you used it.
  • Any marks or problems.
  • Why you are selling.

Other details

  • How many do you have? Use it if you sell more than one.
  • Meet up in person and I can ship it are switches. Shipping is agreed in the chat. Zellany does not handle delivery or payment.
  • Some departments ask for facts, such as year, size or storage. Fill what you know.
  • Phones ask for the IMEI. Dial *#06# to see it. We never show it to buyers. It helps stop stolen phones.

What to leave out

  • Links and email addresses. They are not allowed on a new account's first day. Use Chats.
  • Phone numbers and your exact address. Share them in a chat only when you both agree.
  • Promises like "100% original". Say what you know.

Tip

If something is scratched, say so. Honest items sell, and the meet-up goes better.
