Photos or a video: what you need
You need at least one photo or one video. You can add up to 10 photos and 3 videos. A video alone is enough.
Every item needs at least one photo or one video. A video alone is enough. Both is best. You can add up to 10 photos and up to 3 videos on one item.
Photos
- Up to 10 photos for each item.
- Types we take: JPEG, PNG, WebP and HEIC. Each photo can be up to 8 MB.
- The first photo is the cover. Drag photos to change the order.
- We remove hidden location data from your photos.
- Tap a photo to edit it, when Studio is on. See Filters and stickers in Studio.
Videos
- Up to 3 videos for each item.
- Each video is currently 5 to 30 seconds long. Staff can change this.
- You write a short caption of up to 150 letters.
- A video is checked before people can see it. See Why your video is "Checking", "Needs a change" or "Removed".
Not live yet
Videos are switched on step by step. If you do not see the Video button, post with photos for now.
If you have both
Use Show video first to choose what people see first. Otherwise they see your first photo first.
If a video fails
If your only picture is a video and it fails, the item goes back to a draft and asks you for a photo or another video. Nothing is lost.
New photos on a live item
When you add or change photos on an item that is already for sale, we look at the new photos first. The item shows "Being checked" for a short while.
Tip
Show the real item. Do not use pictures from another listing or from the internet. See Fake, copied or misleading listings.
