Set a price: fixed, free, ask or open to offers

Choose Set a price, Free or Ask for the price. Turn Open to offers on or off. Type your price in pesos.

Updated 2 min read For sellers

You set your price on the About it screen. Choose Set a price, Free or Ask for the price, then type the amount in pesos.

The three choices

  • Set a price. Type the price in pesos, for example 13500. Buyers see it on your item.
  • Free. Buyers see "Free". Say in the description when someone can pick it up.
  • Ask for the price. Buyers see "Ask for the price" and chat with you to ask. On a service it says "Get a quote".

Open to offers

When you set a price, a switch Open to offers shows. If you turn it off, buyers see "Firm price". Buyers can still send an offer, and you can decline it.

More choices

Open More details (optional) to find:

  • How many do you have?
  • Lowest offer you'll take. Only you see this number. If a buyer offers less, Zellany politely declines for you.

For rentals you also pick how often the rent is paid, such as per month or per day.

Good to know

  • Show the full price. Do not add fees later.
  • Jobs do not take a price.
  • Everything in Free stuff must be free.
  • If you lower the price on an item for sale, people who saved it are told.
  • Zellany does not take a cut when you meet and pay cash.

Draft prices

Prices of Zellany's own paid extras are drafts and are not live. See What costs money on Zellany.

Tip

Look at similar items in search to see what others ask. Set a fair price. You can lower it later.
