Safety and trust

Something went wrong with a buyer or a seller

Stop paying, keep the chat, tap Report, block the person and go to the police if money was taken. We look at reports.

Stop sending money, keep the chat, and tap Report on the item, the chat or the person. Our team looks at reports and removes what breaks the community rules. If you think someone took your money, also go to the nearest police station.

Do these first

  1. Stop. Do not send more money or codes.
  2. Keep everything. Do not delete the chat, the photos or any receipts. Take screenshots too.
  3. Report it. Tap Report on the item, Report this chat in the chat menu, or Report on their profile. Pick the reason and add a short note.
  4. Block the person if you want them to stop writing to you.
  5. Tell your bank or e-wallet provider right away if you paid. Ask what they can do.
  6. Go to the police. Take your screenshots and the item link.

What we do

  • We look at reports and remove items and accounts that break the rules.
  • A report gives you a ticket number. The person you report is never told that it was you.
  • A report about a child's safety is handled first.

What we cannot do

  • We cannot get your money back. Zellany does not hold money.
  • We cannot arrest anyone or order a payment.
  • We cannot promise a result or a time.

If you were the seller

If a buyer did not pay or sent a fake payment screenshot, report the chat. Do not hand over the item. If you already did, tell the police.

If you sent a code or a password

Change your password right away. See Protect your account.

Write to us

Write to help@zellany.com with the item link and what happened. See Contact Zellany.

Heads up

In danger right now? Contact your local emergency services first. Zellany is not an emergency service.
