Reduce motion, Save data and text size

Switch on Reduce motion for calmer screens and Save data for less internet use. Text follows your phone or browser size. These settings are in Settings.

Reduce motion

Screens fade instead of sliding, and nothing loops. Celebrations and animated stickers stay still.

• Website: open Settings, then How things look, or use the switch in the footer.
• App: open Me, then Settings, then Reduce motion. Tap Use my phone's setting to follow your phone again.

Zellany follows your device setting by default. Your choice on the website is kept in that browser only.

Save data

Fewer pictures and no moving banners. Videos show a play button instead of playing by themselves. See Videos and data: Save data.

Text size

Text grows when you make your phone or browser text bigger, up to 200 percent. Zellany is built to stay readable at large sizes.

• iPhone: Settings, Display & Brightness, Text Size.
• Android: Settings, Display, Font size.
• Browser: zoom in with your browser's zoom.

Screen readers and keyboard

• Buttons, pictures and stickers have names for screen readers.
• On the website you can use the whole site with a keyboard. The focus shows clearly.
• We write errors to say what happened and what to do next.

Colour

We never use colour alone to say something. An error has an icon and words.
